It works great on my T-Mobile Dash 3G. It is faster and more convenient than direct access to Wikipedia through http://mobile.wikipedia.org, and it allows storing selected Wikipedia articles locally on your phone. The Wikipeida access through Upvise is completely free. While Upvise offers additional (unrelated) services for a fee, you do not have to buy them.

not a bad app, very useful most of the timed, but every now and than the formatting and navigation have some heavy problems

Jeroen, Wapedia is a commercial site through which you can access Wikipedia's database indirectly, but direct mobile access to Wikipedia is faster and without the ads: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/
