TwitToday is a simple today screen plug-in which allows you to post twitter messages directly from your Windows Mobile device !
The applications is just 20kb and it will not lag your Pocket PC at all. In order to install just download the .CAB file, copy it on your device and run it from there to install. After that go to Start/Settings/Personal/Today and check the "bLADE TwitToday" entry to get it available on your today screen, be aware that some device would require a restart to be able to use it !
TO SETUP your twitter account, please go again to Start/Settings/Personal/Today/Items tab select the "bLADE TwitToday" entry and then click "Options" button at the right side and enter your login details !

@toh Twitter is a free online service at twitter.com. Every tweet will sent directly to the twitter server (via GPRS/UMTS connection).

how do we get charged per tweet? is it like sending a text message or does it make you go online every time you tweet, thus paying like an mms?

Great little plugin. Does just what it is supposed to do on my HTC Mogul... quickly and easily send twitter status updates. Just remember to set the options for it in the Today screen so you can set up your Twitter account and whether or not to enable the onscreen keyboard.

To disable TouchFLO 3D. Go to Start. Go to Settings. Click the Personal tab. Click on the Today icon. Click on the Items tab. Then scroll down in the menu and uncheck TouchFLO 3D and exit out and its gone.

I have been using since V1.3 and it works great on the Sharp w-zero3 WS011SH in Japan on the Willcom PHS network. Love how the new version tackled the aesthetics of the search bar by making it clear. Now if we could only get the GO button and the Twitter "t" logo cleaned up. I think the Skyfire bar is a good example of logo quality, placement and size. Great APP. Thx. sma

Jimmy, you need to have it installed on the device in order to function properly. It will not show if the TouchFLO 3D is running because it overwrites the default Today Screen. You have two options to disable it or to install Manila Today Page http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-manila-today-page.html which displays today plug-ins in one of the TouchFLO 3D manila pages.

i am using HTC Touch Diamond...it showed the installation was successful but when i go to Today screen in Items tab there is nothing i see as bladetweet...please help...

@Andrew - the latest version of the app (available from http://icanhaz.com/twittoday but not from here) does support sending by pressing 'Enter' as you asked

The version of TwitToday hosted here is out-of-date. If you want the latest version - mainly bug fixes when handling special or accented characters, but also new features such as Cut,Copy,Paste and SIP support, then please get the app directly from me rather than the old version here. The app was last updated in Nov 2008
