ThrottleLauncher Main features:

Is so slow & takes up much memory. Constantly resetting my device. Had problems uninstalling & had to hard reset my Wing. Like PointUI much better, even though it has no widgets, it has applets that are good.
I like it. No real problems but not all of the apps work on it.
After being forced to dev site, prog doesn't download and installation fails. Solid waste of time but the screenshots are sure purdy..
Sounds kind of like I should stay away from this program as i found it pointless from previous versions. I use various folders in my start menue that are mega short cuts. Now the web site just runs me in circles to down load. I got one from my phone but it won't register on phone and unzip to what I should be using? The web site runs me in circles not finding the spot to download? ~ANYBODY~
had to hard-reset my KS20.
works good on my updated htc prophet ( wm6.1 )....but its slow
this is sucky application freeze my x1 xperia.and unable to uninstal hard reset only to save the device .If you want to brick your x1 phone install it
didn't work on dopod 838 pro.
Works great on My Omina
It installed fine to an HTC Touch (CDMA, WinMo 6.1), but when trying to launch it, it didn't start (at least I didn't have the patience to wait beyond 3+ minutes. Removal worked, so that's good. Took a rather long time, but it did remove it.
Slow on The Fuze but I like it, just wish it was cleaner and faster, if it was i would of donated $10.
Super slow on the LG Incite too. Had about an hour lifetime on my phone.
it΄s also to slow for diamond
wow sounds like some of you are having a bad time! i think this appp is awsome! works Perfecto!
Phone Freezes in OmniaI900

When I first saw the pictures, movies and the description, I thought this might be a considerable alternative to the PointUI or SPB interfaces. So I downloaded the latest version of throttlelauncher and installed on two of my devices. The first start took quite long for today applet. My first impressions was disappointment. The today screen did not recover my background, and the graphics of the bottom bar icons looked poor unrefinded, and were not ajusted symetrically and overlapping those of microsoft bottom bar. I tried to correct these defaults with the included configurator, but no chance, I couldn't even set a personal background. The available applets and skins seemed to correct these bugs. However after some testing even those could not keep up with my expactations. The installation is quite simple just copy the downloaded folders, which you have sometimes to rename, in designated folder on your device, and hope that the configurator will find, accept and launch them. Some worked as supposed others not at all (for example the weather and SMS apllet). The handling isn't refined too, it doesn't explains itself, nor is it based on an intuitive logical thought. You have to search here and there to find what you are looking for. The scrolling between the "pages" was not sensitive, and felt more like a jumping between those, because it was way to fast and not fluent. For what it is it takes to much memory, slows down and chrashes to often. I can't recommend this application as it is now, it seems more like a beta or even an alpha version of a final product. It's slow, bad handling and graphics look poor. However the idea behind it, the multipage todayscreen and the basic structure with the adding of applications which can be freely moved and ajusted (as known from SPB) is interesting but will need some serious refinement.
