With SVMPowerMgr, you can: turn off the screen, put the device in suspend mode, soft reset and power down.

May be "power manager" sounds hard, this app. do exactly the same as per example psShotXP, namely:

- Turn off the screen of Your device.
- Put the device in suspended mode.
- Soft reset the device.
- Turn off the device.
v You also can create 4 shortcuts to the program with parameters:

- 0: turn off the screen of Your device.
- 1: put the device in suspended mode.
- 2: soft reset the device.
- 3: turn off the device.

In the attached archive is a folder with those shortcuts, as the cab installer does not make them, only one shortcut of main program in the "Programs" of the device.

About "turn off". I've tested these only on my Touch HD, and I've used the functionality of this device: PowerOffWarning (when you long-press the power button). May be this will work on Diamond too, I do not have them...

You can change the images of backrounds and buttons, they will be located in "Images" folder after install. With one restriction: now the buttons are black, so if you change the back of main program, consider this...

The program works - but does not display properly On the touch pro 2. When you run it the 4 options appear over the program screen - so you see all the icons in the background with the four options in the foreground. Other then that - the program works.

@ ken w ha! actually i was up for an hour searching for a program that can do this because shutting the phone down: holding the power button for like five seconds (through the cover that I have) and then using my fingernail to hit yes...ugh havent even downloaded it yet and i'm alreadyhappy. hope it works thanks for the upload. peace out to ya mamas

To KenW: And tell me please, how pleasant is to fondle the small power button on Touch HD ? (if this is Your device) And what about the "my precious RAM", this program does not resides in memory, just launches, do the selected job and closes. If You use the shortcuts, then graphics does not start at all ...

Obviously kenw has no clue what the purpose of this app is. But it works pretty fine, appreciate the upload man. Was looking for something like this. The shortcuts are really handy, can place em on the today screen.
