as i've been surfing this site i was wondering if i'd run across a tip calculator.. actually i'm curious if this will work on my touch pro - years ago (many.. lol) my mobile phone had a tip calculator and as 'stoopid' as some might think it is.. well.. i liked it.. not everything is for everybody.. if you dont like it dont use it.. thanks!
Sorry. In my previous comment, they didn't include all of the return spaces that I inserted, but I maybe it'll still help you out and to understand that you don't need a machine to figure some things out.
Ask the waiter to split it or just figure this simple equation: (Seriously. It is simple. I use it when I shop.) Grand Total for each person: GT Sub-Total for each person: ST Sales Tax (7.5% or 0.075 where I live): TX GT = ST (TX + 1) e. g. $8.58925 = $7.99 x 1.075 Hint also: GTΓ·ST=TX+1 GTΓ·(TX+1)=ST
An addition to this sw that could make it more useful would be the option to register and sum different expenses for different persons and make it toll with the bill totel, then add the tip and calculate the amount for each person to pay.
Thanks for the comments. I will add an option to stop you paying more than the chosen gratuity to even the bill out.
Very nice application. Thank you
Nice app. I noticed in earlier in the Basic4ppc forums. It does what you say but its not very useful
erm, is it me or is this utility biased toward the owners of the restaurant? I would have thought that splitting a bill 4 ways would not add 5p more to the bill. Surely everyone should just pay a penny less? I think benrekia-sam is right. A calculator is more uselful....and less inclined to steal your well earned dosh in these difficult times! ;-)
Ahh. What is wrong with the normal calculator?? Can anyone tell me plz?

This is actually not bad. Nice simple design and easy to use. Works on Windows XP as well as Windows Mobile devices. Thanks!
