hi tweety, u need u update your >net CF version, i have posted the same info in one of the post at this page
hello, the application installed but wont run.Gives me the error onverwachte fout and that there is a newer version of microsoft .NET compact framework is needed. I've got windows mobile 6.1 so what can be wrong? I just got the phone...
yes eric you are missing the xda link ;) well all the faqs are at the xda site. well for your info there are three parts to this app. first CreateRules which handles all the rules creation and modifying/password creation. Before using the PrivateSMS you need to set up a new password in CreateRules go to about-> menu-> personal-> show there it will ask you to give a password that will be used in PrivateSMS app. And if possible plz visit the xda link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=580566
Excellent concept if it worked.. Is there something Im missing?
Ok, I downloaded the .net framework nonsense and installed it on my NEW HTC TP2 phone. Now this sms filter program is asking me for some kind of password and nowhere are there instructions for what to enter. This is a waist of my time.
Hi Eric i suppose u are talking abt framework version, this is the link to upgrade your CF http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=E3821449-3C6B-42F1-9FD9-0041345B3385&displaylang=en
Im gettin an error when I try running this app.on my tp2. It says Microsoft Compact framework requires updating c an someone email me a fix. attorneymacci@yahoo.com. thanks in advance.
There is no initial password, you have to first set a new password from the createrules->about->personal.
For the private sms folder, what is the password? it asks for one before i have even set it up...
its the best thing in SMS Spam Manager
awesome
Dear Mohit , Software is Great . Can I protect any New Folder with Password . So that only after putting password one can see the sms in the folder . I have HTC P3000 Windows Phone and working fine .

The application I installed has some issues. The problem is; that the sms messages sent by contacts ( which have rules to be moved to a specific folder ) are deleted. And they cannot be located anywhere. Am I missing something here ? What I do is; 1- Run "Create Rules" 2- From "ContactRules" a- Add a folder ( i.e: Spam ) from the "menu" b- select "MOVE" as rule action b- Select "MESSAGE" in Contacts Form c- Select the sepcific contact from the "Add contact" list. d- Select that folder from "To Folder" box. e- Then tap on "add" It says "rule added" f- Check " Autorun " From "RUN TYPE" in the MENU ---- I can verify it from Existing -> Contact Rules -> For folder -> Spam folder. So I start Testing it. It's there but the "Auto" box next to it is not checked. Test sender sends the SMS message.. Nothing happens. Message is still in inbox. then I open "smsrules" again, Go to "Existing", select the rule and check the "AUTO" box. Then I test again. Test contact sends SMS. Something happens now.. And what happens is, the sms message is now deleted. Not in any folder, not even inbox, deleted, SPAM ( folder that it should have been moved to ) .. SMS has been permenantly deleted. Even checked the "PRIVATE" folder in some hope.. but nah.. it's nowhere.. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Or is this a program issue ? Phone : Samsung Omnia I900 Winmo 6.1 Microsoft .NET CF 3.5 Installed Thank you.
