I don't know if I had this much trouble with the game on my HTC Fuze running a stock rom on WinMo 6.1. However, on 6.5 the game will freeze at the main screen unless I start it in landscape mode. I start the game in lanscape mode by pulling out the keyboard. This could also be accomplished (on phones without a keyboard) by going to [Start]--> Programs --> Settings --> System --> Screen, Click ( ) Landscape and [OK]. Repeat the steps when you're done playing to get back to portrait.
Great game, I have a HTC Touch and it works fine. I tried the GUI and MAIN file, both worked with no problems. Going to try it on an old windows 5 Acer (bigger screen)
A great clone :) WELL DONE! I am running it on a HD2. Have had a few freeze problems i.e after selecting the MAIN.DAT file and when I got a phone call whilst playing, both times the screen blanked and whole handset locked up requiring me to pull the battery. But that said it is so worth it to play this game on my phones huge screen :))
games
great
If it freezes on title screen try rotating the screen manually before starting. I thought mine was froze too but the enter button would let it exit (and that's the only button that did much) Manually rotated it before start and works great for me now
when I try to play this on my HTC dash, only one level is listed on each difficulty level and when I press enter after selecting it, the game just exits
I have a HD2 and I have followed the install instructions to the letter, When I try and run it I get main.dat cannot be found. I have placed this file in both My Documents folder. After that the phones screen goes blank and I have to do a reset. I have currently upgraded to .Net Framework 3.5 but it should be backwards compatible. Help with this would be greatly appreciated.
EXCELLENT APP. Ive installed this on my HD2 and it seems to work perfectly.
Installation doesnt work on my HTC Orbit2 // Touch Cruise
Hi Johannes, am looking for a window mobile developer for a short term project. can u contact me at my email above? thanks
Hey Johannes... i have a wince 5.0 device and the lemmingsce.exe file cant execute properly.. it comes up with an error saying "Cant find 'lemmingsce' (or one of its components)" ... it is on an sd card but that shouldnt matter.. ive tried installing with the cab and extracting the zip but no difference.. the 32bit works fine on my pc... coping GUI.dat to my documents does nothing... i can only assume the files are in the wrong directory or something any help would be greatly apreciated thankyou..
@ laska... try putting the gui file into my documents and selest that when it asks you for the main.dat i have an omnia this was the only way i have found it to work.
Lemmings were great
How do I install this game ? I've downloaded the files and put them onto my phone... but don't have a clue how to get it going !
Thanks for this -- A good classic :)
Good morning. The real hero is always a hero by mistake; he dreams of being an honest coward like everybody else. I am from Luxembourg and learning to read in English, please tell me right I wrote the following sentence: "razor e300 electric scooter." Best regards ;), Philana.
Interesting problem with the tilt sensor... Yes, I can easily imagine that stuff goes haywire if the screen rotation is changed while in game - not something I ever tested or tried to get working. I'm glad there's a workaround (disabling the sensor), as I won't be able to debug the problem without an appropriate phone.
@Chris: Sorry for the delay in reply. With the newest version, you should just be able to stick MAIN.DAT into your My Documents folder, from where the game will copy it to the Pocket Lemmings directory. Are you sure the file is named MAIN.DAT and not perhaps MAIN.DAT.DAT due to hidden file extensions?

device: HTC HD2
Don't install this game. I lost 3 months of my life to this game and ended up completing it. Now working through "Oh no more Lemmings!". Works well on HD2 though.
