pLamp is an application which emulates a flashlight. Features of pLamp include:
- Incredibly small.
- No .NET framework needed.
- Five colors (white, red, green, blue and yellow) to choose.
- Blinking on Action button (new in 1.1).
- Circular/Rectangular shape on flashlight (new in 1.1).
- Settings are remembered (new in 1.1).
- Backlight settings (new in 1.2).
- RealVGA support (new in 1.2).
- Automatic blinking (new in 1.4). Installing:
- Before installing, make sure that your device meets system requirements.
- Download and unzip pLamp.
- Upload unzipped exe file to your Pocket PC. Uninstalling:
- Find the pLamp.exe file.
- Delete it. How to enable Real VGA support?
1. Start a registry editor.
2. Open HKLM\Software\pLamp key.
3. Set the RealVGA value to 1 (if the key does not exists, create it). How do I enable automatick bliking?
1. Start a registry editor.
2. Open HKLM\Software\pLamp key.
3. Create the BlinkInterval value (if the key does not exists, create it). 1000 means 1 second. Update Description:

v1.5:
- Added: custom colors.
- Added: hide GUI option.
- Added: HW key for closing pLamp and changing the shape.
- Added: left/right arrow changes the intensity of backlight.

v1.4:
- Added support for square screens.
- Added support for landscape mode.
- Added automatic blinking. v1.3:
- Added yellow color.
- Close button moved to the right top corner. v1.2:
- Backlight settings.
- RealVGA support. v1.1:
- Blinking on Action button.
- Circular/Rectangular shape on flashlight.
- Settings are remembered.

looks good, but how can I add the exe file to a quick launch button on touch flo? on my touch pro2 with win6.5

Thank you so much for this app, David. This works great on my HTC Touch Diamond. For other users, I recommend changing your Backlight setting to something like 10. You can install programs like FdcSoft Task Manager or Total Commander for Pocket PC to edit your pLamp registry keys.

For those wanting to use the HTC Mogul's flashlight without using the camera, do a search for "nilisco flashlight"

Does anyone know of a program for turning on the camera's flash without waiting around for the camera mode to start up? Being able to turn on and off the camera's flash light just by holding down two soft buttons or something would be great.

doug, the mogul's camera flash can be used as an effective flashlight. just hit the camera button and then the little lightning bolt.

Hey Doug, you're an idiot. how many people do you know from one time or another used their cell phone as some sort of flashlight device? i do. this is kinda creative and nifty tool. i am not saying that i will use it all the time but if i happen to be in the dark somewhere, u betcha i would use this tool

useless program, it just lights your screen up in either white, blue, red etc however it was tested in the dark & wasnt useful much. + wont be able to launch like a reg.program its actually an zip file that u will have to open each and everytime from that location in your phone(so in other words when you goto your program menu,this wont be there). dont waste your time. but if u insist lol it did work well on a 6800 mogul lol
