It does not swtch ON my himalaya if set for next day. Though switches ON the same day. It switxhes off successfully.

Cool. But could you possibly get it to turn the mute on/off instead or in addion to GSM? For me it'd be OK to have the thing on, but I'd hate to be awoken by it during the night...
