pBar is a lightweight and speedy task manager, smart close, and battery indicator that works just the way it should be.

pBar is able to override the behavior of the "X" button just like other task managers. In addition, there are a couple of handy shortcuts found on the popup menu. You can even add shortcuts of a couple of your frequently accessed applications to the menu. In short, this freeware is a speedy little task manager that offers many handy shortcuts which really make it worth checking out.

This little piece of extremely useful software is amazing, I install it as the first program with every new ROM, even on WM6.5 it still works perfectly !!! I found no other task manager (of many tested) that is so simple and yet so complete. Thank you Phudongsoft for this contribution.

can anybody tell me what 2 icons do: 1) paper sheet with red cross 2) -- || -- || -- green arrow ? pros: free, can rotate screen 90/180/270, !battery indicator! on _top_of_screen_ - green horizontal line when device works on battery, grey/white - when on ext. power. and many more... cons: everyone has some cons.

By far the !BEST! task manager! I have tried several other It takes up very little space [68kb] & performs 30 separate functions. See below: *Switch Tasks list *A 'Close' button that can either 'Minimize' or REALLY close the programs! *Close 'This Program' button *Close 'All but this Program' *Close 'ALL Programs' button *Turn Off Screen & Standby buttons *Soft Reset button *Rotate Screen button *One-Touch button access to "Add/ Remove Programs" & "Windows Memory & Tasks" menus buttons. *Memory Status & Battery status and Messages status *Time & Date Formatting *And as mentioned,'On/Off' access to Wi-Fi & Bluetooth. *NINE (9) Quick Access Favorite Programs buttons, which can be set with a One-Touch button. It's free! It is easy to install & it works. trb ps: The ONLY issue I have with it, is the "Move Favorites Up or Down" are gray-ed out. Otherwise, I still give it 5 out of 5 stars!!!

this is the best taskbar application i have used...and this version is much more improved than the last one. THANK YOU. one error(?) I noticed - when you scroll over the battery level information, the mail (x/x) text disappears.

I forgot! new shortcuts to remove prog, witch is helpful to me because I like to test apps + shortcut to check memories (main, card, running progs)I don't use this one. Tip: bluetooth icon is grey/white color when is off, touch it and is bluetooth is on and green/white color, touch it again and now is in discoverable mode and blue/white color. Touch it again and is off w/gray/white color. Wifi icon is red when wifi is off and green when is on. It would be nice if we could call pbar menu the same way we call start menu(with hard button, It would be very helpful). I love this apps.

It's new version, I had old one. Working perfect on my HTC TyTN WM6. U can turn on/off device, off just display, rotate screen, soft reset, add program to favorites, add prog exceptions, etc. It really turns on/off wifi/bluetooth/phone, these icons change colors. Close prog, minimize, switch between prog. I like a lot. Thanks a million.

Nice little software. It does most of what is promised. Loaded with vital and useful tools. The inclusion of a taskbar 'submenu' is clever though it would have been nice to be able to put in a 'time offset' rather than limiting it to (GMT timing). Some help is needed to know what some of the buttons are supposed to do. To add a program shortcut, you have to type in the path yourself, adding a 'browse' facility is vital. Gives easy access to your wireless resources, though the WiFi button is tricky. It won't turn WiFi on and if WiFi is on, it just changes the taskbar icon without actually turning it off which can drain your battery in no time. All in all, I will give it 4 stars.
