Ooops. Regarding the last entry. I discovered that my 'HTC TyTN' keeps wanting to reset my location to USA Mountain Time. When i set it to GMT it's fine. It would be nice to have the sun/moon and possibly the planets on it though.
OK I got the CAB file and installed it. I'm at 51 degrees north but to get it to look right I had to set it to 105 degrees north. What?
Tried to downlad direct to my PDA but the .exe file won't run on windows mobile. Where can I get the .cab file?.
In the config I had to enter NON negative (ie positive) for both W long and N lat for proper orientation.
Typically West (long) is -... and South (lat) is -
Nice app...John Wagner and others who get the "not valid pocket pc application"...install the this program to your regular windows pc, then active sync to your HTC (or other phone) and run the install from your reg pc (you may have to answer choices on your HTC during installation)...good luck!
Working great here. Had to install it twice because of some error the first time. After that I could do anything (zoom, scroll etc) on my HTC Touch Pro
Same problem here as John Wagner has. Anyone with a solution?
This looks like a great little program, however I keep getting "not a valid pocket pc application." I'm new to the mobile pc scene so I'm not sure why it's saying that as I'm running windows mobile 6.1 On a verizon Omnia I910. Any help? Thanks JW
Quoting Myname: "I wish people would just provide the damn .CAB instead of all this exe and activesync crap", I would agree. I have several Macs and an HTC Touch refaced as an iPhone. I have full (Apple-ish) connectivity with my Touch & Macs via Mark-Space's Missing Sync™. The delivery system for phone software to the phone itself should be device independent. This electronic Planisphere would seem to unfortunately & unnecessarily be tied to PCs. Oh well, off to a Star Party tonight. I may have to purchase a PC to upgrade the OS on my HTC Touch so that it supports Location (Google Maps). It would be nice if the developers here kept everything as supplier neutral as possible... (Lets see what happens with Windows CE: Refrigerators, Furnaces, Car IT Parts, Pop Machines.. Connectivity buggered by brand bigotry?)
I wish people would just provide the damn cab instead of all this exe and activesync crap

Nice software, but it would be perfect if you just could know the name of the Constellation on the map, at this moment in only tells you the name of the start when you "click" on it. It it would give you the name of the Constellation it will be the best.
