OMAPclock is a Pocket PC overclocking applications that has some good options for Omap processors. OMAPclock was developed originally by a some Russian guys with the aim of speeding up the Motorola MPx range. By happy coincidence, HTC Wizard owners have discovered that it works on their devices too, and interest in the application has increased greatly. Okay, this is very much "use at your own risk" but it works really really great, overclocking the device from its 180Mhz to the better looking 247Mhz
- our result was enhancement of processor speed of 20%.
This application should run on any TI OMAP device, including Smartphones such as the C600, iMate SP5 but, again, everything you do to your pocket pc is at your own risk!
Remember, this probably will cause your phone/device to blowup or something. Don't use it if you are worried about that sort of thing.

I got my HTC touch up to 240Mhz without any problem and there's a marked difference. I had it at 288Mhz for a while but somehow it doesn't seem much different and 240Mhz sounds safer.

Only just installed this to my CDA Mini S (originally running at 195 MHz), so I can't comment on how stable it is, yet. However the Difference is ace, anyone will notice a 20% increase to their device. Thanks a lot to the developers.

no 247 should be fine. whoever said overclock it 3 mhz and see how you like it is a jackass. you aren't going to notice any difference. yes you should be careful but you can overclock the typical processor in these things quite a bit before they start having problems.

I downloaded it to my Dopod P800W/HTC P3300 with a OMAP850 processor speed of 201 Mhz. When I run the application, it detects the processor running at 186 Mhz. I tried increasing the next increment to 192 Mhz and then the next at 204 Mhz. So far, it is still alright except I cannot feel the speed improvement yet. I scanned through the maximum increment which is 372 Mhz but I am not risking to try it yet

Danilo, Just bump it up, like 3 Mhz see how you like it, then go a bit higher. YOur Pocket PC WILL get hotter, & remember to remove the overclock, on battery, as it may not remain stable

Hi, I used OmapClock V0.2 on my HTC p3400. My device is said to have a 201 MHZ processor. OmapClock detected 186 MHZ. I Overclocked it to 228 MHZ and I can definitely see the difference on NFS Undercover.
