NoniGPSPlot allows you to locate your position in relation with other GPS points, to see the journey you have traveled.
You can find back your place at harbour after a trip on boat, the starting point of an excursion or locate your car in a huge car park, A place of which you know the location, To see the excursion you made, Speed trap alert or lots of other things...
Tracks and saved points can be exported to GoogleEarth and to GPX standard.
Put your old tracks in the background with a system of tracing,
Put maps in the background (moving map),
And those can be downloaded directly from Internet if you have an access to Internet on your PDA (GoogleMap maps, YahooMap, VirtualEarth and some layers of OpenStreetMap). Display a graph of altitude, speed or signal level.

agree with sanjay - you never now if it's the lack of donation, a technical failure or your ignorance when an error pops up; disagree with ion - seems to me the map calibration is manual - what a drag! a thing for tracing your route though

It really seems like a great application, but I cant manage to get it to funktion on my HTC Touch Pro. "erra message:cant read GPS" ENYONE PLEASE HELP ?!

yes i noticed maps get deleted on restart so i assume if someone has map files on their storage they can load them or copy paste them, nice ? any info or videos on getting many more big maps or details on adding them to custom maps ?

the best, fantastic. on glofiish x800 i used it, it even downloads maps automatically. it also has ability to load - import maps ( didnt try this import yet- i guess if i go to those links it has inside i can download maps i want?) it would be nice if someone could scroll on the map so it downloads more maps automatically : ) couse who knows when it will be the next time i will find open wifi when ravelling on sea o get the new maps

Great software. Probably the best GPS software out there for the Pocket pc, plus it is free. Especially recommended after addition of the online maps. Thanks to the developer..

To connect with the internal GPS device of a Samsung Omnia, set in Windows Settings-Menue under GPS-> hardware settings the hardware port to COM9: (a must!!) and the baudrate to max. 57600 bps. Then set the software port to a free one (my one is com3:) and a hook active to 'let windows manage the connections'. Save with 'OK' and after this, set in NoniGPSPlot v2.80 in the GPS menue the SOFTWARE connection port (my one is com3:), save! Start GPS to 'online' and wait outdoor for max. 5 Min. for a calibrated gps signal That's it! Enjoy!

This program is one of the best freeware for geocaching I've ever seen, but I'm not able to set another path than the original one in v2.80 for saving any map detail (as cached map) to storage or internal space card. The button '>' for choosing another path on my samsung omnia sgh-i900 keeps inactive, regardless of any choosen settings made in the 'internet-maps download and cache settings menue'.. but rating 4.9999 !! ;-)

not really doing it on HTC P3300. At least 5 second time lag. 3DTracking and TrackR does a much better job and has live positioning/tracking on the web.
