If you can't see any icon, you can find windows dir. and you must reset your smartphone.

john @ January 20th 2010 6:32 pm

HTC HD2 - No icon in programs but the app is located in the device windows directory - 'networkplugin' Still trying to map a drive....

Rockss @ January 3rd 2010 7:33 am

I used to love it, but it doesnt work on my new ROM :( Hoping to find a newer version that works with HTC Sense 2.5.19214010 or later. It worked till HTC Sense 2.5.19211619 and got integrated in the TF3D Settings menu itself.

This is rubbish. 1). Doesn't appear as an icon in programs so have to hunt for it. 2). Doesn't recognize Linux served Samba disks which are fully recognised by XP, W2K, Vista etc. Windows disks are OK though. 3). The camera lost the ability to store any photos on the SD card and lost the option to store pictures on SD card as well but did gain the supposed ability to store on the network ut couldn't as it was Linux/Samba. So not much good really.

i cant find the icon anywhere after installation, im using samsung b7330 winmo 6.5 help anyone?

lexophilia @ December 14th 2009 5:47 pm

seems to work great on my htc touch 2 wm 6.5

device: Samsung Omnia i900

Seem to work fine but I had to look for the application in the Windows folder after installation, since it didn't appeared on the programs folder, then I copied to the applications folder so now I can see it. With Browse option I was able to connect to a Western Digital 1 Tera network disk (and map it) I have at home, I had to input user and password, after that in the explorer I can see a Network folder that contains this mapping, I can play WM files on it, is cool! I have a Samsung Omnia i900

I see it is pointless to ask a question here since it never gets answered. Also, this website doesn't seem to provide a link to the author's homepage for more info on the app. Very strange. Maybe there is no website for this app. It's unfortunate because the app isn't working for me and there is no way to get any help.

Dave Johnson @ March 18th 2009 3:18 am

It works great. However, on my xperia when I map to network shares I can play and use files etc. But I find that if I try to use the mapped drives later they seem to have been disconnected somehow and I have to reconnect them.

gerco @ February 7th 2009 2:56 pm

super thanks. I'm going to try it

stoyan @ January 21st 2009 4:26 am

Hello, Nice tool. Thanks. I found a little bit strange feature (I would not like to say it a bug :-) ). 1) I have mapped a network device X at home network (2 computers, PC+PPC) 2) Later when my PPC was not connected to my home network. In the window for mapping management I clicked on the already mapped device X. An error was reported (somethig normal, the device is not accessible) but the mapping WAS DELETED. I think it is not very reasonable feature. Would you fix that, please? Thanks.

Thartung @ January 19th 2009 4:43 pm

How do you change the username password on a network share? I can only connect where the username has rights which is what you would expect. Installed resco and does the same thing. I am sure it is in the registry somewhere.

kiat @ January 8th 2009 5:53 am

how do you connect to the network? after this is enabled, the wifi option is gone so i don't understand how to connect to my network before mapping the drives...

mikael sundqvist @ November 21st 2008 4:19 pm

Great! Easy to install and use. Ample for the beginner like me. Thanks to Jez, above! lol

Jez Gafys @ October 7th 2008 8:36 am

This application works ok but it is very limited. I found it couldn't detect device on the network you have to type them in manually. You also can only access the drive through the application which is a shame as the application actually uses the windows fexplorer.exe. For better network share access I prefer the tool Resco Explorer 2008. A much more finger friendly file explorer with network support.

unkown @ September 29th 2008 8:37 am

htc diamond touch wm6.1 the app does work and is found where Busenitz said it would be. however the app does see the network but double clicking on the share does not respond neither does manual writing in the full remote path does not not work unknown

mitch @ September 22nd 2008 2:34 am

I think it is working on my mobile 5 PDA, as I can see the laptop, but not sure what to put in to User name: and Password: (Domain:) as I have an open network just attached to my printer. The question has been asked before but haven't seen an answer.

Gakkie @ September 19th 2008 3:35 am

This program worx perfect on my i780. I can even watch all my divx movies over the network with Core Player....Freakin AWESOME

JapYum @ September 18th 2008 10:43 am

This works perfect on my HTC 7501! :-D
