Oops ... this is so embrassing. Didn't realise this is a CAB file. Installation complete and program is access through "/setting/connection" tab. Now if I can only figure out how to configurate it ...

1st, the good news. This program is simple to configurate (very similiar to Network Neighborhood you fine in WinXP). Once mapped, you drive is accessible through this plugin. There are 2 things I do not like: (1) no auto connect to mapped drive, and (2) mapped drives don't show on File Explorer unless you choose to explore a mapped drive through this plugin. This is very annoying when you have to juggle files in between your PPC and two (or more) mapped drives. 5 points for doing exactly what I need in a simple way ... but (-1) for annoying me :D LOL

How do you give username/password to access network drives? It doesn't detect any other computer on my network and I can't map anything even with IP addresses.

I'm running Pocketpc 2003 and it shows that the network plugin is installed (under remove programs) However, I do not have an icon showing under Settings / Connections. (Am I understanding right that this is similar to a control panel program, that it should add an icon?)

Restart WM5 after installing the plugin. It will then appear in settings/connections.

Does this work for WM6 standard? I restarted the device after installation and there's nothing new under settings-connections.

This is a great app and works well on wm6pro htc universal. However I can only connect to 3 folders (1 internal hdd, 1 external hdd and the usual SharedDocs folder). Any ideas?

App works fine on MW5 however my MP3's will not play from the mapped folder. They play okay if copied local. The MP3 properties show as different on the local folder to the mapped folder. Same MP3 also plays from a storage card okay. The library view in media player shows albums tracks etc... but I get Incorrect property error when trying to run any file. Any help would be appreciated.

Doesn't work on my WM6 Smartphone. It installs, but Windows shared folder names are not recognized, there's no way to Browse the network, control keys don't work properly, and any accidental wrong cursor direction requires a reboot.

I have HTC8900 (ATT Tilt) with WM6. Installed fine. Opens fine. Can't find other PCs on the network. Does a workgroup have to be configured somehow?

I think it is working on my mobile 5 PDA, as I can see the laptop, but not sure what to put in to User name: and Password: (Domain:) as I have an open network just attached to my printer. The question has been asked before but haven't seen an answer.

htc diamond touch wm6.1 the app does work and is found where Busenitz said it would be. however the app does see the network but double clicking on the share does not respond neither does manual writing in the full remote path does not not work unknown

This application works ok but it is very limited. I found it couldn't detect device on the network you have to type them in manually. You also can only access the drive through the application which is a shame as the application actually uses the windows fexplorer.exe. For better network share access I prefer the tool Resco Explorer 2008. A much more finger friendly file explorer with network support.
