Just downloaded this for my HD2, absolutely brilliant once I changed the player configuration. Have got one issue. When I play the live TV BBC news it says "This service has been updated. Refresh your bookmarks at www.bbc.co.uk/news". Any ideas on how to update this?

good way to download BBC programs to your phone thnx

techienerdo @ March 1st 2010 11:58 am

FYI for all you HTC HD2 owners, I got BBC iPlayer and Live TV to work simply by reconfiguring the player to be Windows Media Player. So Coreplayer is not strictly required to get some functionality.

It requires Coreplayer to watch a lot of stuff, which is not free. A good start but could do better if it was a stand alone app. Works fairly smoothly on HD2.

All of the channels are working for me. Although I have to agree with the previous post, the ITV and Five content seems to be very out of date. Other than that very happy with the app. -HTC HD2

Slightly more of a review here for it... I have used this program on a HD2 and a touch cruise and all the fantastic introduction from the company is far from what it really is. BBC Iplayer works (sometimes) ITV and Channel 5 only ever show 5 programs each and have been stuck on those 5 for months.. ITV currently still offers the X factor??? Also neither actually will show them if you click on them... Premier league Highlights couldnt get working Hulu almost nothing there and not updated (also wouldnt work) BBC radio worked occasionally Live TV... everything I clicked on, in the UK wouldnt work. If it did as it advertises it would be great but as with many apps, they promise much and deliver little... Also its worth noting... (in their words above) "myPlayer is a freeware application. Any donation towards the project will be gratefully received." then you check out their website and again in their words "Credit is consumed whilst streaming via the myPlayer server to ensure that the server bandwidth is not overloaded by multiple users. If you exceed your 250Mb quota you will have to purchase additional credit either via the myPlayer application or by visiting the myPlayer credit redemption page." Apps like this will get noticed by the BBC and if they see there is a market for paying to watch iplayer... what do you think BBC will do... NOT GOOD
