v2.52 beta

MSentinel checks for any:
- missed calls,
- unread SMS/MMS,
- unread emails
- missed voice mails
- 'missed' tasks and calendar reminders, and notifies about that by sound and/or vibration.

You can specify the time period of checking, time when the sound should be played (I don't want to be disturbed at night). You can also decide if the screen should be switched off after notification.
From the version 2.2 you can decide if the notification should be executed when the devices is 'full ON'.

After checking application leaves the device in the state that was before checking (if it was 'on' state - it will be the same after checking; if it was 'stand by' state - it will be the same after checking).

Language: Polish, English, Russian, German
If you want to add a new translation you can make a copy of 'English.lng' file, rename it to 'YourLanguageName.lng' and edit the strings. Save it using UTF-8 charset.

Changes history:
version 2.52 beta
* disabled notification during the active phone call

version 2.51 beta
+ 'silence' and 'vibrate' mode support - if 'Change volume' is checked the sound will be played also when the device is in 'silence' or 'vibrate' mode
* fix for notification checking

version 2.5
+ improved power saving features - your batter will feel the real difference ;-)
+ new notification - blinking lights
+ new option - max number of notifications - after exceeding this limit no notification will be executed
+ improved time selection for notification executing - now you can set it e.g. from 23:00 to 07:00
+ new translation: Italian
* fixed vibration id saving
* fixed installer for WM5

version 2.4
+ new sound engine, it should now work with WM5 correctly
+ support for new sound formats: MP3, MP2, OGG, MOD, S3M, XM, IT
+ vibration led id selection
+ new translations: Dutch, French, Hungarian, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish
* fixed the time selection warning

version 2.3
+ vibration option added
+ German translation added

I think it is a great program and it works on my HTC Touch HD but whenever it activates and lets me know that there is a msg it slows the whole thing down and I have to reset it to get it working properly. Help please!

Skippy @ November 1st 2009 3:36 pm

I too have a Samsung Omnia, but am unlucky - with or without the blinking it turns the screen off! Need to reset or at least to pretend and abort b4 the phone turns off to have desktop displaying.

homar. Just to let you know I now have an Samsung Omnia and it works well. The only thing I noticed is if I check the box that has the light blinking it goes out of control. I have to do a soft reset to use any app. So by not using that part it works just fine. Thank You.

I installed v2.5 (from Homar's website) to my HTC Touch Pro. It works--thank you!!!

geishagirl @ August 7th 2009 7:13 am

Homar san, Thank you very much for your msg. I got rid of that software finally. many kisses

[geishagirl] Just make sure MSentinel folder (under Program Files) is deleted. You can also check the system notifications related to MSentinel using e.g. Dotfred's Task Mgr. However, I can't imagine any situation when it should be necessary. There is no other influence of MSentinel on the system.

geishagirl @ August 5th 2009 12:24 am

My phone is Xperia, X1, and I installed this software but only missed call voice is coming out. I went to setting-remove program and deleted this, but still this missed out voice I can hear. How can I remove this software completely?

[Joeb] Which version of WM do U have? 5.0, 6.*? If it is 5.0 then try to download proper CAB from my temporary website.

Joeb @ July 23rd 2009 7:59 pm

Every time I tried to install it it said " installation unsucessful" Why? I tried on my storage card and then device.

[CADman-ks] It should be set as a notification. You can check it using e.g. Dotfred's Task Mgr. Please contact me via PM - I'll try to help you

Homar - I've tried 2.3, and now this install of 2.4. Now it doesn't even work with sound. Today, I deleted all of the registry entries, installed 2.4, and it worked ONE time, and then it quit vibrating. I have also checked, and when it is supposedly running, it does not show up in any running process list. I don't know if that's normal or not (I checked with utilities more than just task manager, which doesn't show services) I have indeed tried the different led ID's, and none of the ones that I have tried seem to help either. The only one that actually "tests", and vibrates when I hit test is "1".

[CADman-ks] What is a build number of the version that you use? If it is v2.4 have you tried to set different led ID?

This is a GREAT program, and I could recommend it to anyone who wants notification of things. However, the vibration setting just quit working for me, and I don't understand why. The sound part still works, but not the vibration, and I really can't use the sound part, because I'm often in a noisy enviroment, and would never hear the sound, so without vibration, I can't use this program. I've messed with about every vibration setting on my HTC 6800, and changing them does nothing (and I'm pretty sure that they are the same currently as they have always been). I've even installed 2.4 version, and that didn't fix it. The phone vibrates for calls, calendar reminders, anything like that, it just doesn't vibrate on this program, but used to. Anyone else had this problem?

nordika @ July 1st 2009 1:15 pm

Hi, mail already sent.

homar @ July 1st 2009 3:29 am

Nordika: can you send me the sound file you're trying to use? Email address on the website.

Nordika @ June 30th 2009 2:27 pm

Only half of the total reminder sound is played. Any reason why?

mior: do you have any error msg? If it's about installation please follow the instructions from http://homar.webpark.pl/ - 'Known issues' section
