moBlog is a mobile blogging application for Windows Mobile (WM) devices. moBlog currently supports Blogger, Wordpress.com and Live Spaces. Support for LiveJournal and MovableType/TypePad is also on the cards.

moBlog is optimized to run on WM devices using minimum resources. It is an application that you can use in off-line mode, where you can do your writing and editing disconnected to the net. A connection is only required when you initially setup your blogging accounts and when you want to update your blog with the new content. moBlog allows you to save the blog posts locally while they are still being written and edited (I do understand that sometimes you may not be able to finish a blog post in one go), and once it is published, the local copy is automatically deleted from the device in order to free up the storage space (storage on devices are scarce).

Kept getting a "There was an error" when I tried to set up Live Spaces account... worked fine with Blogger though... what to do?

I'm getting the same "There was an error" It keeps truncating the wp-login.php. Not sure if that is it or not. I would love for this app to work.

Nice app, but I also have this "There was an error"message. It all works like a charm when I publish a post whithout an image, but as soon I insert an image I got this error. The image doesn't show up in the preview window either

slycooper, thanks for your taking the time to help. I had already done all that, I believe. I was in the publishing part where I got my error message. My profile was set up and I was able to pull up my blog, but after writing something I would hit publish and get the error message.

Casey, fishnate, did you read my first post? They sound like slightly different problems, but might be related to how the account is configured. I did, by the way, confirm that my problem with the delay was on WordPress's end. One thing that kills this app for me, though, is the "posted by moblog" footer that it puts on every post. Please, remove this. I and many others alike would enjoy the program a lot more if it did not do this. Thanks!

I am getting "There was an error" when trying to set up a new profile for wordpress. One thing I noticed is that it is not saving my entire login address. Why is that? the address is http://natefish.com/wordpress/wp-login. This app seems like a God-send if I can get it to work. I have been pulling my hair out looking for ways to post mobile with WP 2.5.

Downloaded, set up using my Blogger account, it went and found all my blogs, but after writing a test entry, I got the "There was an error" message when I tried to publish it. Using WM5 on a 8125.

A suggestion: the soft keyboard covers everything up; the options fields and text entry fields should shrink to accomodate it. Still good work. Only one problem, though, I did a test post and it didn't seem to actually post it. Maybe it's just a wordpress.com delay; I'll let you know if it's a problem with the actual program.

milf4ever, fill out all the details down to author name, then go to your blog and go to the login link (http://www.myblog.com/login.php for example). Put this whole URL into the page URL box. Now tap the "Retrieve Blogs" softkey. When it's done, select your blog from the dropdown list and tap "Options - Save". Works like a charm!
