MobileMonger is a tool to show storage space use on your Windows Mobile in a TreeMap.
Main Memory fills up pretty fast on the Diamond if your not careful to install absolutely everything to the storage card, and also set your default save location to the storage card.
When running out of Main Memory I wondered what was using it. If you hit the link provided in the Windows Mobile memory settings screen it takes you to an explorer window that shows you all files greater than 64kb. In Windows CE 1.0 this was probably helpful, but they don't seem to have updated it since.

This application needs a lot more testing and quality control. Great idea, but the implementation is far from complete!

I have samsung i760 running .NET CF3.5, still telling me it requires .net. I have another phone I downgraded to CF1.1 and it installed fine, same with CF2.0 but very slow. It will not work with the cf 3.5, still need work to get it to work with the cf 3.5.

Question for those using this: What is the primary objective of knowing how your memory is being used? pls share because other than "knowing" what does or doesn't consume memory I cant think of any practical reason..

Works good on the ol' HTC Wizard. It helped me identify an application that was taking up ALOT of collective room (which would have been hard to identify any other way since that application was composed of many, many smaller files (

Can't get it to work. i get "File or assembly name 'System.Windows.Forms, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=969DB8053D3322AC', or one of its dependencies, was not found." What's going on?

You can find the new version of .Net CF 3.5 in this link - http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/devices/default.mspx At the search box enter - .Net CF Download The last version is 3.5 relisted. Know it work on my 8525 from AT&T, but work only for the main memory. When trying to map the storage card it give me an error - problem scanning path Storage Card : Exception Occured scanning Directory MSMETADATA : IOException. let me know if anyone figure this one out.

after i installed it it says i need .net application......when i try installing the .net app it say i need to delete the later version of it....so how do i delete the later version of .net..........plz help me

Wonderful tool. I've been working professionally with visualizations and Treemaps for several years so I might have some thoughts on the color scheme etc, but this is so far the best windows mobile Treemap I've seen. I would like to contribute with ideas and maybe more to the developer about your drilling, roll ups and meta data structure order that could give even more interesting solutions then just this.
