» Mobile Altimeter Description

Made by: Chris Craft

Altimeter for windows mobile devices. We have a background that symbolizes "altitude" which is appealing to end users. Plus it gives the program a lot of style and class. On the left side of the screen if you look carefully, you will notice we have an attitude ruler, which has a marker that rises one pixel for every foot higher the device travels up to 180 feet.

This simple feature really takes our application up to the next level. :D (Yeah, I know: I’m terrible.)

At the bottom of the screen we are allowing the user to read all the main stats off the GPS so the application is even more useful. We show altitude in a large bold font in the middle of the screen for impact.

I'm using a HTC touch (sprint) with the latest ROM and WM 6.1. It says my microsoft NET framework isn't new enough for this to work. Can I manually update this or am I out of luck?

It gives a small photo and rest of it is GPS window. It also gives repeated GPS errros. Had to remove it in minutes after download. Sorry

Tried to run it on Sony Ericsson x1 xperian but no satellites found. Installed .net cf 3.5 but no change - any advice to make it work?

I only get a small picture in the upper left of the mountain..?? So the app doesn't seem to run on my HTC Touch Pro

One comment. For some reason when I install the app it is named "Mobile Speedometer", which is not what this application is. I suggest this be fixed in the next update.

I have an XV 6800 (which I hacked so that the GPS works) and so far this program works nicely.

I installed the software on an HTC Touch Diamond running Mobile PC 6.1. The phone is two weeks old. I get an error message from Gps.Sample.exe: "The file 'GpsSample' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found." My phone then starts to lock up. Any suggestions? I have also gotten warning about not having the latest .NET Framework. Thank you.

It is made for 240x320 screen so it won't fit your diamond, sry

Put it on my HTC Diamond and mountain picture tiny at top left of screen. GPS window is 2/3 of the bottom. Cant get it to scale properly????
