Mobadi is a little application to discharge and monitor your internal battery. Actual it will support only different HTC Devices, but Versions for non-HTC Devices are comming up soon. Runs on VGA and non-VGA Devices.

In some test, Mobadi have increased the used mAh up to 370%! So the Bettery will discharge faster.

On older devices like the Trinity, the Bettery-Percentage are 5% or 10%-Steps. So the Diagram are not so detailed like on the Touch-Versions.

While full discharges help older types of batteries, they actually shorten the life of lithium batteries (that all current devices have). So what's the purpose?

Can we download to the laptop first and then transfer it to the htc touch pro 2. Or we have to download it directly to the fone?

A lithium-ion battery provides 300-500 discharge/charge cycles. The battery prefers a partial rather than a full discharge. Frequent full discharges should be avoided when possible. Instead, charge the battery more often or use a larger battery. There is no concern of memory when applying unscheduled charges. Source: http://batteryuniversity.com/parttwo-34.htm

This will actually shorten your over all batter life if your phone (like all cell phones) uses LI batteries. Because LI has a certain amount of charge that it can output in it's lifetime, discharging it would only use of more of that charge that it can put out. Therefore making your batter have a LOT shorter life, especially if you don't use your phone much...

Can the author please offer some advice as to what this application is trying to do? Is it to improve battery performance, so we don't need to recharge so often? Or is it to improve overall battery life?

kolh @ May 26th 2009 1:24 am
