Bing totally sucks. Live search worked fine, except for voice recognition. I hate that Bing defaults to IE search instead of providing access to needed tools. Not to mention it totally hosed my system. As for speach GPS, check out Amaze (free in beta at least).

I have an HTC Mogul pulled it down and it works GREAT! Turn-by-turn with PERFECT speach recognition of addresses. I just ordered an HTC Touch Pro and I can't wait to see how it flies on that.

i think i downloaded a version that microsoft will charge me. i thought all live search apps were free. whats the the free net for mobile phone, need help

Great app, works fine on Omnia 910. I use the traffic portion every single day. One of those rare Microsoft apps that don't suck!

When I downloaded this program from Microsoft last week, it shut down my data network!! Anyone know why? I was so confused, I reset my phone on and off like 10 times...then removed the program and data came back on. Still can't figure out why. Thought I was going to have to return my phone.

Ray, Only the premium GPS softwares offer speech while driving afaik. Like TomTom and dedicated units you buy. They also would have a 1st person (or behind your car) view with icons like gas stations and food on the map. The newer ones read the streets like "Turn Left at Main Street".

I have the HTC Touch PRO and can use the turn by turn directions, but it does not speak the directions. any suggestions or is it just like doing a mapquest and not real turn my turn directions.

HTC touch HD " Not a valid shell.dll file" caused machine to crash after initially setting a home point (Australia) with no problems. REMOVED will go spend $30 and buy some bugless software.

Yes...I was right the first time. I've found major map loading/refreshing issues in GPS mode. I actually uninstalled and re-installed the previous version where it all works beautifully!!

Okay! Answered my own problem. When you switch to "track me" mode, it brings you up so "tight" on the map that you can't see anything. Zoom out a few times and you'll see your maps! :)

Problem!! Last version worked great but this one will not bring up any maps when on the GPS tracking. Maps appear when just selecting maps, but as soon as I check "track me with GPS," the red arrow appears but all maps go away and refuse to load. Didn't happen in previous version. A little "bug?" But otherwaise, LOVE it!! Thanks.

I used to swear by Google Maps but Live Search seems to work much better on my HTC Tilt. The only complaint I have is that I can't seem to search for a street address, only businesses.

i own a kaiser, had this software b4 but it didnt have any info such as the gas prices, traffic update ets. i wanted to know, is this for the US only feature and can it be loaded in the UK
