iDialer is a finger-friendly dialpad for Windows Mobile PocketPC phones. It's essentially a clone of the very excellent iPhone dialer, with one major enhancement: iDialer allows you to seamlessly place calls using your virtual number from Google Voice (previously GrandCentral), Phone.com, or JaJah! iDialer is also skinnable (for those who don't like the iPhone look) and works with both VGA and QVGA skins, and in both portrait and landscape mode! It can also be used to simply replace your built-in dialpad, or as a nice interface for your calling cards! The latest version, v0.43, adds Google Voice, Speed Dial, calling card support, and the ability to change the keypad volume.

Very nice application - but with one big hint: the sound. Is there any way to switch it off or at least to set the volume lower? (Using a HTC HD2) Thanx for your support! Chris

I installed this crappy software on my phone and it worked fine. The bad part is that it want uninstall. How can I get this software off my phone and go back to my original contact layout?

@Reef - those buttons only appear if you have iContact installed. If anyone else is wondering, I got it working with Google Voice and it works great. You need to install this, then go to the configuration page on his website and enter in how you want to customize it. It generates a .cab and you install that (again, you have to install idialer first). The page is here: http://supware.net/iDialer/config/

There is one issure I keep running into. The speed dial doesn't always work. I hold down a number key, and nothing happens. I try again a couple seconds later it works fine. Also, I can only get speed dials 1-5 to work.

Works great on my Palm Treo 700wx running WM5. I'm also running SPB Mobile Shell and have had no problems with making calls. All buttons work for me.

To set iDialer as your default dialer, you need to use AE Button Plus (software)and set your phone key to bring up iDialer. It works fine for me.

This is one cool solution to the green button problem with iDialer. It, and the SD card patch, works great on my ATT Tilt, WM6.1. THANKS!

Use a piece of software called GreenButton - http://supware.net/GreenButton/ This sets iDialer as the default dialer
