v0.95

iContact is an all-inclusive finger-friendly contact manager for Windows Mobile PocketPC phones. It's easily skinnable, intuitive, and replaces the standard Windows Mobile contact chooser. Translations are available for over 25 languages. iContact supports true VGA skins but also will support any screen size! The default skin has a diamond-like look and feel; other skins are available on the skins page. iContact settings can be found in the Windows Mobile system settings menu. The app is very easy to use, it only lists contacts in scrollable list. Use it for accessing your contacts by scrolling the list with fingers, similar to iPhone. Just tap, drag and release.

To select a contact, just tap and release, and standard contact details dialog should appear. Changes in version 0.95

  • [+] Added "Remove Shortcut" button to details screen if appropriate
  • [+] Added "createshortcut" and "removeshortcut" to language file
  • [+] Added contact shortcut icons to start menu shortcuts for Windows Mobile 6.5
  • [+] Added ability for hardware "*" key to favorite/defavorite a contact
  • [#] Fixed outgoing calls to numbers with no name displaying [null]
  • [#] Hid SIP button being displayed by iContactAE

A must have! Whenever I hard reset my device (due to testing a lot of apps and such) this gets installed right back every time. It is a great companion for anyone that wants to be able to locate contacts quickly and efficiently.

Josef. Strange. Settings is easily accessible as an ad hoc icon in Program list. I have an Samsung Omnia 2 but have nothing to complain against iContact v 0.95. Actually I prefer the latter since it allows me to edit Contacts faster. It is so easy to use that one does not need Manuals. Besides the developer is very attentive to people's feedback and has solved some bugs. I erased my past posts reporting bugs. I assure you that you will find very few developers like this one. For iContact: Cheers!

Poor software. No how to install or operate instructions. No access to settings. Not as good as basic phonebook in Samsung Omnia. Skins limited and no instructions on how to install skins. Needs a lot more real work to make it worth downloading.

Hi - Quality app that plugs a gap and makes it nice to work with! I hope I'm not missing something - but is there a way to make another email account the default (apart from the built-in Outlook email account) email account to send emails when using the app?
