» iContact v0.2 Description

iContact is a simple contacts applications for your Windows Mobile device which will help you scroll your contact list in iPhone style by sliding down your finger in the screen ! It's really amazing and if you get used to it iContact could be one of your everyday apps. The app is very basic, it only lists contacts in scrollable list. I use it for accessing my contacts by scrolling the list with fingers, similar to iPhone. Just tap, drag and release. To select a contact, just tap and release, and standard contact details dialog should appear.

There is a similar freeware called SSContac having almost the same features even some more !

I have over 300 contacts and it is slow to load and scroll to the end of my list. (quicker just do it with regular contact list) When exiting, it leaves "stuff" on the screen until it refreshes. With a smaller list, it would work more efficiently, but I wouldn't. Cool concept, though.

I think it still needs the letters to quickly goto say, R. Like others have mentioned, when you have a ton of contacts, its slow. scrolling is fine, but takes a while to get to bottom. Also, I like how on default contact list, it shows the number under the name. Just seems like there is alot of wasted space...

To William and all the other ones having trouble mapping the program to a hardware button: using File Explorer, first go to the location where you copied iContact.exe; tap and hold and select "Copy"; navigate then to \Windows\Start Menu\; tap on the Edit menu, and select Paste Shortcut. You should then be able to map iContact to any hardware button using the normal procedure.
