Don't even try it on WM5. It completely slowed my system after removing it, and the folder views became very slow, icons took forever to appear, etc. I will try again on WM6 once I get the MDA ROM and report back.

its pretty slick. works well on my sprint mogul/ppc 6800, win mo 6. i'd like to see the weather revamped though. it should show chance of rain in addition to the high/low. i'd also like the option of seeing greater detail for the today instead of the 4 day weather (ie show morning/early afternoon/late afternoon/evening). @randy...go to settings, today, items and put a check mark next to HTCHomeplug.

I've managed to install it on my 838pro and it's good. Until the phone starts to hang and you can't use the phone at all. Soft resetting the phone won't do any good. You'd have to hard reset the phone and then reinstall everything. So before you install, make sure you've synched with your desktop or notebook.

All of you asking about WM5: the description specifically says WM6. Get a clue. For those having trouble adding to today items: make sure you install to main device, not storage card. I have seen other today-plugins that will install to a storage card fine, but won't show up in the item list from there.

Onlything happened if you dont uninstall the first version HTC home plugin v1.0 adn you install on top of it. it will freeze then crash. so you need to uninstall the 1st version. i own a P4000, HTC TyTn, Imate Jasjar, and waiting for my TyTn ii :)

For the weather, when you select your city, click on menu and then select weather options. From there you can change it from celsius to farenheit

How to for n00bs on the 8525 running WM6: 1. Save cabinet file to your computer. 2. Sync your phone to your computer. 3. Drag and drop the cabinet file onto your phone, somewhere you'll know how to get to on your phone. 4. Go to the cabinet file on your phone, and open it. 5. Install the cabinet, and voila! To change from Celsius to Fahrenheit get a registry editor and edit HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCHome\Weather\Settings to change Celsius from a value of 1 to 0.

Download the file to your PC. Use ActiveSync from your windows PC to copy the file from your PC and then browse to the file using the File Explorer on Tilt and then click on it. It will first ask for confirmation, click to proceed and then it would confirm to reboot the Tilt. Continue to reboot and after it reboots, you should see the new Plugin interface. Worked for me. Any new plugins?

Works amazingly on my Samsung i760! Great launcher! Couldnt be more happy w/ it! Every element works perfectly! PS. for those having install difficulty. Once the file is in your windows folder, click on it to install completely on the device. Worked for me!

i've had this ap for the last 6 wks, and it's worked flawlessly. i've only gotten the weather to update through the 'data connection' 1x. i use wi-fi to do it, and it works fine. i don't seem to have much trouble finding hotspots, so it's not too hard. you might try to update weather using wi-fi.

I picked up the vx6700 from work... had one kicking around so I decided to play with it. Upgraded to WM6 from 5 and it has been great... using the WiFi with and no data plan, I have had a good experience and everything works. The HTC home screen is a really nice addition, as it allows me to jump quickly to an item and to get quick stats as to messages and calendar events. If you have WM5, definately go to 6. it is a major boost and well worth the little bit of effort and time it will require.

This plug-in is great with the all black theme. I was afraid to download it, but it was soo easy (PPC6800-Mogul). Worked right away. Just repeating, but if you have WM5, don't download this, more than likely it won't work. But thanks alot for this download.

Works well on my at&t tilt. I have issues with the weather icon, but can go to IE to get weather updates. Also unable to see missed calls from the missed call list at all. other than these 2 issues the themes are great.

I LOVE IT!! It looks increadible, the function is great, it's more organized than the factory layout and I really feel like I'm getting more out of my phone. The only bad part is that it eats up battery life like crazy! My advice is to turn your phone off once a week and let your phone get a 100% charge-up and plug it in whenever you can. I'm looking into upgrading my battery for the sole reason of keeping this plug-in. BTW: if the weather doesn't work for your city, you can download another weather program that doesn't eat up too much memory.

this application causes my AT&T Tilt (HTC Kaiser)'s mic to stop working during calls. The problem could only be solved by removing the program, DELETING THE CAB FILE FROM MEMORY (key), removing the battery, replacing the battery, turning the device back on and preforming a soft reset. Thank you for the most bullshit program i've ever come across.

Check XDA-Developer.com's forum for more information on this program. and the 1.5 is better than the 1.0. @craig, xda devel has a guide on inputting by zipcode. its in a XML file inside the windows directory.
