Doesn't work on my HTC Touch2 with winmobile 6.5. Installs and seemed to back up successfully, but when I tried restoring, most of my programs are gone, and none of the critical stuff are restored. Had to do a hard reset eventually.

I had this application installed before on my HTC Tilt 2 when it had the old software. Now it installs but said can not open because it is corrupt or something about the digital signature. Any idea's?

I tried to install it, copied the file to my PDA, installed the CAB files, found the icon in "Programs" but when I tried to launch the program; "The file 'backup' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists try reinstalling or restoring the file" I downloaded it once through my PC, once thru the device, deleted it and re-tried to no avail. Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance Rusty

Didn't seem to work on my Pure (AT&T's version of the Touch Diamond 2) - the program wouldn't completely start up (i.e., the "spinning dots" would keep spinning forever) and then only a soft restart would let me exit and use the phone (whereby I installed the app). Oh well - looked like a much simpler and backup app than the pay-for ones (i.e., SPB).

This app. saved my data more than once. Restoration was 100 %. Some users complain about a clumsy "visual progress bar"that gets stuck in 2%. It happened to me as well but only when I tried to restore without a Hard reset. The progress bar went on smoothly (it takes time to start though) when Hard reset preceded. Recommendation: (1)When backing up, it creates a file called "default" in the target folder (e.g. SD) (2) To restore, you have to reinstall the software since it is probably gone or damaged (3) Once software is in place, you can start restoring by clicking on the icon of "deafult" file I mentioned dearlier (4) Make backups in the different states of your handset and keep a record SO THAT you are restored not necessarily to the last state but the best or close to ideal state when handset was running smooth. My thanks to the developers of this app.
