Beside all the stuff you may find in tons of OBDII scanner tools, here are some
HOBD unique features:

1.1 version updates: - Hobdrive now persistently saves currently used trip interval (Auto, Day, Week, etc.)
- Hobdrive now have predefined vehicle profiles to help configure your vehicle settings. You can upload your profile and share with others. You can update profiles from site.
- Hobdrive now works natively on Linux with mono environment. Users of linux based car PCs can now install hobdrive. Notice the support is still in beta stage.

- Improved italian translation, Added Turkish translation
- Hobdrive can now work with non-OBD2 vehicles: Chery Tiggo, Nissan (JDM, consul), VAZ.

wrks great with EL327 bluetooth on laptop and winmobile on htc xv6800. easily configurable on laptop the copy file to phone. easy to adjust gague locations and what gages displayed where.

TO THOSE MANAGED TO RUN THIS PROGM: I have a Seat/VW car. Ross-Tech Hex-Can USB cable which I use with my laptop fine. Tried to connect to my WM6.5 Samsung B7610 Omnia Pro phone and not sure what COM port to chose. think found the right one but only reads the Fuel amount, nothing else. Anyone knows how to do this properly working ? Thank you

llien, It runs on HTC HD2 absolutely fine! Most probably you don't have .net3.5 - either install it, or use hobd-stanalone package from our site: hobdrive.com/hobd/ (it comes with .net prepacked)

@Stephen Yale, Some PDAs has builtin usb host feature. Most of PNAs could be converted to enable usb-host. However, for sure all this are workarounds and the easiest way to solve this is to use Bluetooth OBD-ELM.

hobdrive works fine on any PDA as soon as you have .net3.5 installed. In case you don't, use hobd 'standalone' package.
