Gyrator has an advanced graphical configuration interface which can be used to create thousands of combinations of events to suit every users needs. Windows can be excluded from all events, or only some of them. Customizable sound events can be triggered, and the device can be made to vibrate for any event. The keypad can be locked, the screen can be turned off, or the entire device can be instructed to suspend.

Now supports ALL HTC Diamond/HTC Diamond Pro variants!

Require G-sensor (accelerometer) integrated in HTC Diamond/PRO

This was exactly what I needed! Custom settings allow me to say what programs should NOT rotate. Custom settings may be a bit too complicated for casual users, but I cannot ask for a better program.

If you go to menu and events and remove the "stylus" events if will stop the locking on inserting of the stylus and beeping on removal. Hope that helps!

Tazman,smartphone-ra: You have the change the settings. Menu>Events>stylus out (hold)>Actions>uncheck all actions.

On my HTC Pure (AT&T's Touch Diamond 2) I had the same problem as Tazman below - the Windows lock screen would open when the stylus was inserted. Wierd but not good. Oh well - I'll keep looking for something that works (Gsen doesn't and Rotate Screen is a manual affair).
