Group SMS Solution.
As the name suggest it is basically a program to send SMSes to a group of people at the same time.

As most Windows Mobile devices lack the functionality to send the same SMS to a group of contacts i decided to make this small application. It can be started from the Start menu or by the right menu in the messaging application.

The application reads the categories from the Pocket Outlook database. If you own a Smartphone, you have to create the categories in Outlook and sync them to your device.

1. Category Wise Contact Pickup
2. Individual Contact Pickup made easy
3. works with WM5 and WM6.
4. Seems to be moderately paced as it is written using managed code but does the job well.
5. It is free.

Just copy directly to phone and run. Install ok and works perfectly on windows mobile 6.1 HTC TYN11 :-)

good program "BUT" I'm experiencing the same as "krishna @ December 31st 2009 9:10 pm" If there is a call during sending...it will resend SMS again & again (My friends received annoying 3-4 times repeated SMS!! & it costs me money!)

Good stuff. But creates a single message in outbox just like the inbuilt function in my Windows phone. If there is a signal break or a call made while sending the whole message, the OS restarts sending the message from the first contact. Pain. Need something that creates a separate message per contact in the outbox.

Good app that worked with HTC Tilt, and now HTC Fuze. I can create custom groups and send mssg to many contacts at once just by selecting the group that I want to send to. You're right about the slow speed. However, it works and it's free. Thank you

we downloaded this program to our new verizon imagio, but we can't send a text to more than 10 people. Is this a limitation of the program?

Having the names appear next to the number after adding the group would help a lot if it can be added. Works great on my Omnia
