This Pedometer runs “as is” without a gps by selecting the activity you are going to do and then pressing the start button. This style of use of GPSPedoRunner will estimate the amount of calories you burned by plugging in the amount of time doing exercise, your weight, and some presets into an estimation formula.

Another style of using this program is with a gps unit. If you choose to use a gps unit, the GPSPedoRunner gains distance data and pace data to also use in its estimation formula.

Richard Ive downloaded GPSPedoRunner v1.07B but it seems I need an updated version of Microsoft.net compact framework... what does it mean? Imate KJAM thanks

Everytime I try to download it, I wind up at this screen that has a lot of letters.They look like arabic letters.Can some one help me that has a pocket pc and has this app.

Looks nice but everytime I try to enable the GPS and start the app it comes up with an unexpected error and it quits (i've got an MDA Compact IV)

Hi, I got this downloaded onto my Samsung Omina SGHi900 and the only thing that is working is the Stop watch. Can anyone help on how to active the other features please. I want to use as for running and cyclying. Thanks.

great idea for the minutes per mile... I can make an added feature for my next version.... I think i will leave the mph though. also... whoever requires a cab file, just email me and I will send it out. Richard...

Great program! I will be using it to run and would love to see a minutes-per-mile in place of mph. Example readout would be something like 6.4 MPM (minutes per mile). I am using the program on an ATT Tilt and was able to get the GPS working with no problems. I was looking at the Garmin Forerunner 305 watch but want to try your program first. Might be interesting to see if you can output any data for logging workouts. Nice job with the program.

update to this version is now out v1.03b .. should fix some of the problems.... except the blackjack one..... from what I know blackjacks are smart devices and I haven't been able to get .net 2 to work with that yet. most of the others are using pda phones which doesn't quite use the same operating system.

Go to Richard forum for more details. It seems to work just fine to me (HTC Touch Cruise) but only if I first start the timer and then toggle the GPS. Nice software I'm waiting for the next version ;-)

Chad, you are running it on your ppc device. you need to run the install from a computer and synch it to your device for the install. This is the easest way. If you would like another way (harder though) I can send you the cab file and config file and you can manually instal on your device. Rick..

I am having problems installing this. I keep getting "there is no application associated with GPSpedorunner v1 run the application first. When I try to install from computer I get another error that exception has been thrown off by the target of invocation. Please help. I have a HTC mogul.
