Adjust your backlight levels according to the values your light sensor measures

Because I wasn't satisfied with the automatic backlight adjustment of my Diamond (it was always too bright for my needs), I made G-Light.

With this tool you can adjust your backlight levels according to the values your light sensor measures...
You can also change the interval how often the light sensor should be accessed.

With those two features you may save some battery power (still need some benchmarking if this is true...)

came up with an error when trying to run on my shadow 2 using MS mobile 6.1..any suggestions

Found my problem. You need to leave the automatic adjustment box on the standard backlight settings checked. After this change the flashing darkness stopped "I once was blind but now I see" Great program

On my HTC Diamond the backlight just turns on and off like a flashing pool of darkness. I also agree with se7en who wrote on his mobile ... is it possible to have it sense when your outside! It is a much needed program my problem is when I am outside it's to dark! PLEASE HELP!! This is a BIG problem for me also (following immediately behind getting this thing to work properly.

I have the AT&T 8525/HTC tytn. I notice a light sensor in the keyboard. Will you be able to integrate my device in a future release?

it worked n everythng, n starts when i turn on my device, but i cnt get into the prog anymore 2 set new settings, error all the time, allthough the sensor's reader working fine any ideas y?

This is a much desired option for many. One piece of info needed: I would like that this software would disable HTC's built in backlight adjusting system. Or else, two running processes doing the same thing will unnecessarily slow down the system. Also, after this software is uninstalled, will things revert to earlier? mail@shamasis.net
