FreeCaddie requires a Windows Mobile Smartphone or Pocket PC device with either:

Built-In GPS support
Support for Bluetooth and a separate Bluetooth GPS receiver.

Just download and install the CAB file on your phone, then download a course file and you're ready for the golf course. It's that easy.

Excellent,this app works a treat,unfortunately im running it on a HTC touchdiamond and the battery wont last a full round,cant wait to get a better phone with a better battery,will definately be running this on it.

Great Software - you can set up the courses without playing them just by using Google Maps - it is accurate too! and FREE!!!!

This is a great tool period! Hard to believe it is free!! I have used it 5 times now, and it works flawless. I have been out with folks that are using skycaddie ($$$$) and they were giving the exact same readings. WOW!!!
