FlashSMS is an easy-to-use software to send flash SMS messages right from your Windows Mobile powered Smartphone (WM 5.0 or better required). Flash SMS messages are equal to normal SMS messages except that they appear directly on the mobile display without selecting the message after receiving it. Sometimes Flash SMS messages are displayed in a fancy way for example automatically scrolling on the mobile screen or similar effects. Target mobile phone numbers can be directly taken from the Pocket-Outlook addressbook. The Software has been tested on a HTC TyTN smartphone. There is no guarantee for any functionality. The author takes no responsibilty for any damage or cost caused by the usage of this software.

It's a SMS Class 0 sender people, it sends SMS that displays directly on the recipient's phone, this is not some FREE SMS sender. Geez..

I have tried it on my Dopod 838. Seems that it doesn't work for Overseas. Now I am using HOIIO which sends overseas sms at 5 cents. It is Windows Mobile integrated. I think that they also have Symbian / Java version.

If you copy the downloaded .cab file to your device using activesync and then run the .cab file using File explorer this will install the app no trouble. Jay

Seems it doesn't work anymore in La Reunion ! Sms is sent Ok but I receive a message from the local network with only my sms text. I presume they find locally a way to intercept flash sms. Then I stay with Mobisms a nice java app which works on every Java enabled device and allow to send very cheap sms. On a computer lowratevoip.com allows free sms (for the moment)For detailed infos, if you understand french go to www.deridet.com

It works perfectly with normal phones. Everywhere in the world, but you have to use international numbers. Even in your country. Size is limited to normal Sms standard. One friend of mine told me it can be the only reason to buy a Windows mobile 5 Pocket Pc !

It works only if u send the sms to a friend with PDA not work for the ordinary phones there the number is displayed :((

Fabulous ! Works great on my Htc Tytn in La Reunion island. More simple you die ! And it's free ! I mean free too to send Sms. One question to the author : What's the size limit ? By the way : Congratulations !
