FingerSuite replaces standard menu and message box for Windows Mobile devices. The resulting menus and alert boxes are much more attractive and also easier to use with your finger.

The improvements are already implemented in HTC's new TouchFlo3D 2, but will of course not come to our older device.

Installation on device is mandatory

Usage:

- Configure autostart, skins and applications with the new control panel applet.
- If fingermenu or fingermsgbox are visible, tap on left softkey to access service menu (see video demo below).
- Slide right to left anywhere to go to parent menu. Last slide minimizes fingermenu.

Tested only on QVGA devices, but it seems to work well also under WQVGA/VGA/WVGA emulated device.

Todo:

- Support for WM 5.0.

Known bugs:

- Not working on WM 5.0.

Installation:

- If you've just installed older version, I strongly recommend you to uninstall and SOFTRESET device before installing new version.
- Installation on device is mandatory (if you need more space, delete *_vga.png on QVGA device or *_qvga.png on VGA device from installation folder).

- fix: sound is disabled from Sound & Notification settings applet.

FingerMenu:
- added scrollbar

- new feature: keep pressed then release SIP button to popup SIP menu
- fix render of ownerdraw menu (if ownerdraw menu can't be rendered, switch to standard menu)
- fix freeze problem

What's the use of this?it doesn't work on my samsung i780,after i uninstall it is says that francarl fingersuite was not completely removed. Do you want to remove it from the list of installed programs? How can i successfully uninstall this program?

hello when i try to intall the app directly to my att tilt it says installation was unsuccessful...what do i do thanks

Installed the program on the device (ATT Tilt). The icons show up in 'programs' and 'settings'. Change settings to 'autostart' on boot and 'default skin'. When I activate program, the screen remains the same but the right soft key nows says 'close'. I press the left soft key and I get a Fingersuite menu allowing to exclude processes or exit. I did soft reboot after the installation but cannot get the Fingersuite display to appear. Any suggestions?? Thank you in advance

Installed successfully on Samsung Omnia i900. Works great. Very smooth interface and definitely better on the finger.

Thanks for the solution on Copy & Paste, ickyboo. But doesn't that defeat the whole idea of FingerSuite for not needing to use the keyboards?

Rickstar > eh, have you tried the old method of cut and paste? open up your keyboard or SIP keyboard and do a CTL-C to cut and CTL-V to paste? no need to open up a softmenu to it

They should hire the author and install this into winmo 7! :) Its THAT good (if you can figure how to install a CAB file into ya pda :]) You'll get SOME apps that won't play nicely with this but its easy to fix, just CLICK ON the LEFT soft button when theres a menu/option up inside a app then select EXCLUDE , that will disable the app fingersuite from running in that app. Lots of ppl complain about the app not working etc, but it just needs a good understanding how the fingersuite works and take the time out to set it up right. This app and FTouchSL make my pda feel and look very advance and I just love how it gives my aging pda running winmo 6.5 feel totaly new and not bloated by the crappy winmo gui

Thank you Francesco! The application is great, but I think there's a little bug that most of the time, the copy and paste function do not work. For example, from browser to Word/Email/SMS/anywhere unfortunately... Thanks for fixing it. ricksterer

Installed and works fine on LG-KS20 wm6. Only bug, when i tried to reset the device, it didn't works anything after the Confirm Reset dialog appears... Had to pull out battery for reset. Any Help???

Nice idea, love the big menu items - I have big fingers so this app would be perfect for me... but unfortunately it is pretty buggy on HTC PPC6800 (Alltel version).
