FingerPoint is just released application launcher for windows mobile phoens. ryhkowal, who developed it, says :I got tired of using standard omnia launcher so I wrote a new one.
So enjoy his work.
This is the first release so it can have some bugs. It was tested only on samsung omnia so if you get it running on other devices please let me know.
If you'd like to configure the favotires, icons, applications etc. find the installation folder - usually in Program Files and look for files:
Favorites.txt - add any application to the list and you should see it in favorites,
Icons.txt - will assign new icons to apps (name, icon). You can add any png 48x48 or 32x32 image - see Icons folder.
Exclude.txt - add app to the list and it will be excluded from the app list.

Just loaded on my xda orbit. Works great. You have to make one or two fast touches to the four at tjhe bottom and works a dream. A great program!

Not a good program. Didn't show up in Remove Programs. Had to Restore to remove it. Not ready for prime time.

Just love the application, But how can configure it to on my home page, just shown in video??(short cut)instead of Contact on my omnia?? And how could I add programe on to my favourites??I've tried but i can't find any .txt anywhere??Pls let me know if u have these answers...pls help.

I'm sorry, i just missed the whole thing with "slide to lunch" Now when i got that sort out it works smoothly with just one flaw! There is no way to add you own shortcuts to the main screen (?)

I take it all back. Now am familiar with the software and included it in the Autostart folder. A great piece of software. You have to be prepared to edit the favourite txt file and icons txt file, but thats ok. GREAT JOB. Thanks.

Thanks for this. This works wonderfully on the HTC Kaiser (TyTN II a.k.a. AT&T Tilt) I'm going to include this on my next ROM but if you prefer I didn't I will not. Thanks again.

If you want to launch application you have to slide with your finger or stylus from left to right on app you want to launch.

Excellent application, but it doesn't work smoothly as it should be on my Omnia. Need to press very hard to open the icon. Love to use it though it's an excellent idea & look forward to it's complete new additon that works even perfact.

Doesn't work on my omnia (swedish) You can starta the program in switch between the menus but you can't click any link or icon in the lists.

Works on my htc touch (p3450) but is a little slow when bringing up programs other than that great app ! Can't wait until the update

Great idea, we need more finger friendly programs that are well thought out. Do you have a VGA version. It is too small for my HTC touch pro and my big fingers.

Works great on HTC Vouge. To launch you must slide your finger to the right on the selected program.
