Mozilla has announced the availability of it much awaited Fennec Browser for Windows Mobile.

Note:

If you have "fennec" installed (as opposed to "Fennec") on your device, you should uninstall it prior to installing the newer version.

Update Description:

Alpha 2:
- Comes with better panning, a new theme and a built in JavaScript error console.

i wouldnt even bother installing this. mozilla has stopped developement on fennec and is now working on a true firefox mobile, but right now its only available on symbian. as a previous poster said, this is an alpha build, but there won't BE a beta build. ever.

Its crappy slow on a HD2... No comparison with any other browser if ever used. If it doesnt become, any faster, mozilla for mobile was a fail :-(

program is way too big compared to other mobile web browsing programs, hard to scroll down. need more work and support for windows media audio support.

i had lots ofexpectations but this totally let me down. took 10 minutes to even start upforget about writing urls. may work on other phones am not sure...but the logo is cuteÂ¡!

It's a slide show on the HTC Mogul, barely usable with random lock ups. Alpha builds will be alpha builds I suppose. :/
