After a few months of development and hundreds of working hours it's finally done. The overall new version 3.0.0 has just been released.

Many thanks to all the testers out there for your great support and all your feature requests. And of course, many thanks to anyone who supported EasyShares with a small donation (unfortunately there weren't so many).

New features:
  • New touch optimized design.
  • If you add a new share, you can also add the currency. It will be displayed in shares overview (adding the currency is optional).
  • You can now set notifications to any share. Either for the last trade value or for gain/loss values. Notifications are shown if any value is exceeded/undershot.
  • Design changes to liste create and list delete dialogs.
  • Shares can now be renamed/changed.
  • Stock information is now updated even if the device is in standby mode. Of course only, if the auto update feature is active.
  • Gain for each share is now displayed without to have clicked on the item.
  • The first click on an entry expands it, the second collapses it.
  • Positive values can now be displayed in red -> see Options. In some countries positive and negative values are displayed inverted.
  • The total gain feature is back and can be activated by going into the options dialog (be aware that this features ignores different currencies).
  • It's now possible to download financial news to each share you're monitoring (--> More -> News). The news are displayed in the same language as EasyShares is running. If the financial news are not available in your language, EasyShares is displaying them in english.
  • The information such as "Previous Close", "Days Range" and "Volume" are now displayed again in share overview with one single click.

    Version 3.0.0 comes with the following translations:

  • English
  • Swedish (thanks to Thomas)
  • Dutch

    Love it! I have never found a freeware app that was so impressive that I went out of my way to find out how to donate! All of the free and paid apps lack the clean touch UI and and simple menu navigation.Nice and uncluttered! Only feature I would want is the ability to search for symbols/company names, but I just use MSN Money (another freebie) for that.Thank you! BTW, I found that you can donate at www.easyshares.ch.

    Best app I have tried yet on a WM Phone. I have the Omnia I900 and it works perfect. I created several markets, including IBEX 35 from Spain and gives me all information I need. By the way "staxx" it is not 61MB, it's 794kb. You are downloading something else. Congratulations for your fine job.

    hi tipestora. you are able to monitor all shares you can find at the yahoo finance page. go to http://finance.yahoo.com and search for your preferred share. there you will see the symbol used by yahoo. simply enter this symbol in easyshares...

    I wish it would include the closing date/time as i never know on mutual funds if it is todays or yesterdays value if i look in the early evening. i have to check back again later to see if it has been updated again.
