Because Microsoft stopped distributing their expenses tool and I don't like the alternatives I have seen, I have programmed a little thing myself. This freeware program is called Easy Expenses.

Easy Expenses is mainly focused on logging expenses. It is meant to be simple and easy to use. Easy Expenses is not designed as a complete finance management program and never will be. If you want to use Easy Expenses for this purpose, you have to export the data and process it in a program like Microsoft Excel.

Excellent work.Very useful programme.Only think I would suggest is if you could programme daily totals,in order to get totals for a particular date.

Is it able to recognize & input vrious currencies, such Rupiah, Singapore Dollar, HK Dollar, Poundsterling, Euro, Yen, Renminbi etc??

Thanks for the software. However, I can't find he way to add the expense type and paid method. Any idea?

I think you are on to something. It also needs an amount tally. For example $33.50 for 10 gallons of gasoline. To make it even more finger friendly a three stage selection of the value multivalued variables would be nice. For example, hit a "Choose" button, Hit the "Currency" button, then hit the USD button, taking you back to the main display. I agree that 5 digits is not always optimum, maybe that should also be a choice.

very easy to use! I can customize the options and column order. The file can be found on PC and easily converted to Excel format! It is excellent!

LOVE this program...Really useful, user friendly, and helps a guy like me who forgets to bring his checkbook everywhere to keep track of expenses...I salute you my friend haha! Two things that would make this program just a little bit better. 1. It would be nice to be able to enter numbers in the 1000's 2. Notes, and auto totals would be great

I agree with Livin.. i wud need a particular date total (optional)and please consider countries with currencies which go into a lot more than 3 digits.. max 999 does not work for an Indian or any south east asian user. Overall.. great work.. thank u for helping all pda owners.. this is useful..

This would be useful for me IF you can add a few items... 1. Purpose (drop-down) 2. Notes (text field) ... I need these to track for tax records. Thanks for helping the community!

I tried it on my t-mobile wing. it installed fine but I find it hard tto enter amounts and date. also, can't figure out how to import & export from excel or other type of program. if u need help in making this better, let me know. i'll be happy to help you out for free.
