Yes, I have got this item in my todo list. But I still dont know, when I will start work on it.
Thanks for answer. Do you have plans to make some bigger maps availible?
Daidalos can work only with relative small images. The limitation is 1047552 pixels (etc 1024*1024). Daidalos is simple map tool. Advanced features like a track recording is not supported.
It works nice. I think it is not possible to record a track? Other question: what is the maximum size of the .JPG file that you can use? >1 Mb? >512 kb?
It is a matter of view. NaviComputer cannot use my home paper maps :)
i don't understand ur software it should be like navicomputer
Ok, instead of providing additional directions on downloading maps and calibrating using Daidalos, I have actually begun using a different program altogether which has BUILT-IN capabilities of downloading and calibrating maps directly to the phone (starting in version .8) Here is the link - http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-navicomputer.html Although I like Daidalos I find the Navicomputer program to be more mature, easier to use and more feature rich.
thnk you

...someone should just make a video walkthrough...
Uh... Okay. I'm still confused! :/ So do I just download a JPG pic, via image search, and install it on the program? Thanks for all your help Nick, but I still don't get what your saying. -_- I need help!
what a nice tip, ptlabco. thanks for sharing~!
Hallo, here is my tip: 1. Grab the jpg map from anywhere. 2. Choose C1 and C2 points of your map at your will. 3. Find the C1 point in google maps. 4. Place A sign mark on C1 google map point. 5. Center A sign mark. 6. Put to the internet browser address bar this code: javascript:void(prompt('',gApplication.getMap().getCenter())) 7. Read latitude and longitude of C1 point. 8. Repeat steps 3-7 for C2 point.
i have htc s620 but i don`t know were to buy a new face, battery, headsets..please help me to know how i can buy the above insteady of throwing my min-pc.
Sorry guys, Nick has provided a better way to get a map with callibrations but the map show up are is too small, bigger the better. anyways, nice work!
I think the problem is that the map callibration on the website shows a blue layer right on the top of map overlapping, and when a uer try to capture the scree with out the blue layer, well, there is no mark to capture the map precisely. any better ideas?
Even better, use this free website to generate your maps and coordinates more precisely. 1. Go to http://www.gpsies.com/coordinate.do 2. Choose your area by moving the map or by search parameters 3. Click on the button under the map "Helper for map calibration" 4. Note the boxes at the bottom of the screen give you the coordinates for C1 (southwest) and C2 (northeast). 5. Use a program like Snagit to grab the map and you'll have everything you need to build and calibrate your own maps with Diadolos
By the way PT, this is a GREAT program...thanks for your hard work on this!
