Hi there, Here is my experience... I use a T-Mobile MDA and since I am roaming I always keep my data connection turned off. I installed CryptoWallet and entered my Credit Card number. However I entered a false SecureCode password (just to be safe). Since then my phone always asked me go online... strange... A few days after I had to go online (to update my GPS) I got a call from Mastercard telling me that someone was trying to use my card with a false SecureCode password. So much about my experience. I am blaming no one here, it could also be some phishing, but it should never have happened!!! For my part, I reverted back to writing my pins on a piece of paper with a simple yet efficient encryption.
i dont know yet?
dont save all your important codes on a mobilephone... cant recommand that app!
Sorry, I wouldn't trust an app. which stores all you financial stuff on a permanently connected device ! So easy to phish them out, all at once, in a second !
anything you could provide an application to hide some folders located in storage card with specific password?
guys, u can store ur card numbers. just dont enter the full card info.. u could enter say- "5423 6722 XXXX XXX7" pin- 1111... this is sufficient for "U" to know which card u referring to.
Nice application, i ws waiting 4 this.. Recommend use once
To the people complaining about security: Assuming this is truly 256 bit AES encryption (I doubt he'd lie, and it could be checked by reflecting the code if it's .NET), that is more than sufficient protection for your data. Looks like a pretty nice app.
I don't recomment this application. All your information of the cards is on your phone, it's not save to do that...
Seems good. For security i strongly recommended this application
You would have to be a total stooge to store your confidential account/pin numbers on any platform that has cellular and/or internet connectivity...
Way too many security concerns to trust a program like this.
Its madness to store confidential info on a third party app. if you are always connected. I settle with my excel sheets and MS words to store those.
Bill, I have the same security concerns as you. I've decided not to use it for that very reason (and also because it installs in main memory even when told to do otherwise).
Do we know if this thing waits a month and a half then sends all the info to a email address in Barbados? I really want it but I don't want my ATM card number and my pin stored in the same place unless I'm fairly certain the program doesn't have a transmission function.
Seems like a good App. but I have no way of telling just how secure it is (other than the description above). Also, on my ATT Tilt WM6.1 it installed to main memory even though I selected the Storage Card. On another note, I'm assuming you can password protect the whole wallet AND individual items in the wallet (or vice versa). I did a simple test with my Drivers License and it worked as advertised except somehow, (I don't know what I did) I managed to delete the DL item from my wallet after going in and out of the app a few times. More testing is in order, but initial impressions are good. I'll add to this after I have some more experience with the app.
Excellent... It works fine on Dopod D810 (Trinity)
Very nice app. thank a lot
