Androkkid is a new Windows Mobile interface, with a lots of customization and a fully graphical design and animations for Windows Mobile 5/6 completely written in .NET. It's still in the early stages but you can get the full drag-and-drop functionality that Android / HTC Sense users are enjoying currently.

I think Androkkid is freakin awesome! unfortunately I keep getting the same "are you sure you want to close androkkid?" popup then it closes. whether I click yes or no. and it seems if I don't notice and dont answer, it just closes. I searched on the xda developers forum and couldnt find anything....

I love the features but I keep getting a message 'Are you sure you want to exit Androkkid?'. Even if I click 'No' the program closes. Why?

all of you who are having problems do a quick google search for androkkid and you should be able to locate the forum xda developers. There they will be able to answer many of your questions.

Help! Everytime I start Androkkid on my HTC Touch HD I get the following error: Androkkid.exe TypeLoadException at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnLoad() at System.Windows.Forms.Form._SetVisibleNotify() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.set_Visible() at System.Windows.Forms.Application.Run() at Androkkid.Start.Main() Can anyone help me resolve this?

Bob, Androkkid works just fine on my iPAQ. I have the same model as you; make sure you have .NET 3.5 (duh). You should have this revision if you can get the program to initialize.

The start up screen errors out on my Omnia. I get my device to the taskmanager and wait, then start it from there? Why is there a close out X. Would have thought this would have had a homescreen option? Still buggy for... also no marks in cell numbers or they wont work...all i like is photo frame.

tried it on my touch hd n it works fine.not bad 4 a free app that acts as a 2nd interface(sort of).but u guys should try spb mobile shell 3.5.now thats kickin the shot out of the tf3d.it isnt free though

hi for mone reason is asking me to install net frame 3.5 i had the .8 ver. and it was working fine but now it runs slow i think im reinstalling .8 but great app. :) thanks!!!!

Nope. Still completely bugged. Nice try, but it won't work on my Omnia i910 QVGA. Got it working after several soft resets, then switched to the Hero theme and the program crashed and refused to run again. Cheerfully deleted it again, this time for good. Guys, skip this emulation, save your money and wait for Verizon Android on Nov. 6.

causes my device to not re-boot properly. Now I have to pull the battery to get it to re-start after attempted re-boot.

Well, its a nice app but didn't work too good on the HTC Vouge. Icons were blurry, phone froze whenever I did a Windows file search when making shortcuts; Shortcuts transferred from Programs either did not work, or the icon image didn't appea; Can't fit as many icons on the page as with IFONZ; loads very sloooow initially, and also when saving changes to settings; sometimes, the wallpaper dissappears. Maybe its good for another device, but for now I'm staying with IFONZ....works like a charm every time.

Will not launch anything at all on my Omnia i910 after installation...get error message when I try to add widgets, etc. and program quits. Shows promise but I'll wait for Verizon Droid. In the meantime I'm cheerfully deleting this.
