Alexju SMS Chat is a simple chat application, for Windows Mobile based devices, that allows you to communicate with people the easy way. But that's not all! This SMS Chat allows you to send simple commands. With these commands you can control your buddy's Windows Mobile based Smartphone of Pocket PC.

HTC Diamond and it doesn't work, have .NET 3.5 as well, when I open the program the only option is popup on new message? What to do?

The Alexju SMS Chat worked on my Treo but would only place the text that I sent to the recipient on it's screen. It turns out that another Windows Mobile 5 .Net Compact software is needed. I tested this with my phone and now it works perfectly. The software is called NETCFv35.Messages.EN.wm.cab and can be found at BeyondPod. Alexju SMS Chat should work on all Windows Mobile Phones. I forgot to mention that if you don't know what your phone's processor is, you can to www.pdadb.net and enter your phone in the search field and look at your phone's specifications.

For the Treo 700WX go to http://download.microsoft.com/download/c/b/e/cbe1c611-7f2f-4bcf-921d-2df718591e1e/NETCFSetupv35.msi and download NETCFSetupv35.msi (a 33.3MB download.) Afterwards go to My Computer>C:\>Microsoft.NET>SDK>CompactFramework>v3.5>WindowsCE>NETCFv35.... [pick the file that matches your processor type] Hug a child and take them for a dessert. For the Treo 700WX use NETCF.wm.armv4i and Alexju will work just fine.

It works for sending SMS messages, but I do not receive them in this application, only in the default messaging software. Using the cingular 8125

hello. i've noticed that after selecting a contact- the phone number does not automatically show and there is not a way to add it in manually as well.

For Ray, if ur phone use armv4, u may look at fahad's comment about VLC Remote in this section. He wrote a link to get .NET 3.5. Hopefully that NET might suitable for ur device.. :-)

It doesn't work on my htc tytn 2 with windows mobile 6.1 I try to install .net compact framework 3.5 but it gives a error when I want to start the setup of net compact framework 3.5 can anyone help me?

Excellent. It works fine on my Dopod D810 (HTC Trinity) after installing .NET 3.5. (I got the .NET from forum.xda-developers.com, Trinity section) With this program, now SMS really easy (and spend a lot of money if we forget the bill) Thanks a lot
